Cristina Ferrer began practising karate at the age of seven in Ibiza. What started as a sporting activity grew into a vocation and a way of life.

A career born in Ibiza and built through tatamis, journeys, defeats, victories and people.
The Spanish national team
At seventeen she joined the national team. She later moved to Barcelona to keep developing and compete at the highest national and international level.
Europe and the elite
She became European Under-21 champion and was part of the senior team that won European gold. Her journey also included Spirit Alaior and some of the most important championships on the circuit.
Returning to Ibiza
In 2016 she returned to Ibiza. In 2019 she joined Ibiza Samurais, and in 2021 she ended her competitive career after the Olympic qualifier. Retirement did not close the story: it opened a chapter devoted to teaching and sharing.
